Institutional Advancement is dedicated to supporting SCU and the Strategic Priorities of the University by engaging our alumni and friends, seeking sources of private support, and finding ways to help fund the scholarships, campus wide improvements, and research for which the Southern California University is known. Those of us in Institutional Advancement believe it's a joy and privilege to share our passion for this great University. Together with our partners in philanthropy, we will maintain the University's high level of excellence for generations to come.

HOW MUCH DO I HAVE TO GIVE?
A gift in any dollar amount directly benefits the University and is most appreciated. By making a gift to SCU, you show your support for the educational mission of the University and make an investment in the future.
WHERE WILL MY GIFT MAKE THE GREATEST DIFFERENCE?
Your gift makes a difference wherever it is used. The Advancement Team works closely with campus officials to determine fund-raising priorities and then match donor interests with those priorities. We also can help you structure a philanthropic plan that will meet your charitable and financial objectives.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT WAYS IN WHICH I CAN MAKE A GIFT TO SCU?
The manner by which you choose to make a gift is up to you. We offer a variety of methods for you to give to SCU. We invite you to investigate your options and contact us if we can answer any questions related to your gift.
CAN I SPECIFY WHERE I WANT MY GIFT TO GO?
Yes, many donors to our university have specific projects or programs they want their gift to benefit. You may specify the gift designation in writing or in the memo portion of your check payment. To ensure your wishes are fulfilled, contact our advancement staff to explore what institutional needs most closely match your charitable objectives.
WHAT ARE THE TAX BENEFITS OF MAKING A GIFT TO SCU?
Cash gifts are fully tax deductible as law allows.
The mission of Donor Relations is to build and nurture lasting relationships between SCU and its generous donors and supporters. The program partners with various departments to facilitate proper gift acknowledgment, fund reporting, and donor appreciations activities and events.
The donor relations program also offers opportunities for involvement with campus leaders, increased communications from the university, and invitations to special campus events.
Donors who establish a named endowment or who are recognizing the University in their estate plans are also recognized through special giving societies.
For more information about the Donor Relations program please contact Babette Teno, Director of Alumni & Community Relations at (562) 902-3327 or email@example.com.
